Gotham Whale is a nonprofit that studies and protects marine mammals in the New York/New Jersey area. Through citizen science, they collect sightings and photos of whales, dolphins, and seals to build a research catalog and track populations. They also provide education and outreach to connect New Yorkers with the wildlife returning to their local waters.
